This sounds like a really good idea. I could be very interested in this for sure.

With limited budget I was only able to do the test purchase on Canon products: sorry Nikon fanbois :P

Image
Canon LP-E6 for the 5D MKII

Image
Side by side comparison with what came with the 5D MKII - no difference

Image
Notice the bottom battery (from the test purchase) has an extra Canon Inc. logo

Image
Both batteries are in use with the BG-E6 battery grip

Image
Canon BG-E6 Battery Grip product shot: I don't think fake ones can be this high quality lol

Image
Battery Magazine from the BG-E6 grip - allow 6 AA batteries

Image
Camera with grip look HUGE on my wife's hands

Image
Manfrotto 190XDB with 804RC2 head

Image
Looks quality to me, definitely sturdy when I had the 5D MKII with grip and a 70-200mm lens on.

Image
Oops, shaky hands. Should've used another tripod to take this picture.

Looking good so far. Have fun playing with your new toys this weekend!
I'm very much looking forward to see what kind of pricing you come up with.
