Anybody here interested in this lens? I'm debating if I should sell my 50 f1.4D and get this instead, the 50 is just a bit too long for me on DX, I think 28 would be a perfect focal length. I know there's the 35 f1.8 but I wasn't overly impressed with its autofocus speed.

28mm on a DX body is a nice focal lenth for somewhat 'normal' perspective street photography, etc... its a bit wider than the 35mm 1.8, and if this lens focuses a bit faster, you'll have a winner. I would suspect it will perform a bit better given the Nano coating in the sharpness category. It will be good to see how this lens works out. I'd consider getting this and ditching my 35mm in the future. Although my lens collection is a bit wide angle heavy...

I'd like to see an updated copy of the 300mm f/4 AFS come in the future... perhaps with the NANO coating, and VRII!!!
