any particular film works best?

I have 9 rolls of fujifilm sensia ISO 100, 2 rolls lomo ISO 800, kodak 400 somewhere, fujichrome iso 50.

I ran out of 1600.

Hate to burst your bubble but I have a whole bunch of original Diana's from the 50's (60's?) and a Holga I got 15yrs ago at some photography school in NYC, and they're such a pain the butt. Developing the film is expensive and the results usually suck. I have a huge black bag with about 10+rolls of 120, sitting undeveloped. They've been in there for years. I refuse to pay big $ to get them developed. So the cameras sit on a shelf. The film sits in a drawer. They make good conversation pieces. All my metal/leather Polaroid sx-70's are now bookends. :-) The cameras are fun, but the results are very disappointing. You can make better fakes with your DSLR and CS5.

The Diana Mini takes 35mm, not 120 like your regular Diana model. Developing for 35mm is much easier/accessible.
