a bit too dramatic for my taste.

So, the shutter works, but we do not know if the cameras still make good pictures, if at all.

With the back side of the nikon broken up like that, won't there be such severe light leaks that images will be useless?

I'd like to see pictures...

Hahah, yeah.. not the best tests, more for entertainment purposes than anything. If they wanted to actually test it, they would actually drop the camera from a few feet and see if it still works.
