I've been wanting to pick up a calibrator for ages now, and have found that quite a number of them don't support win7, and if they do, not x64. I don't want to purchase something (such as the Huey) and then pay another $40 to get an update disk.

If you are running Win 7 64 bit, what monitor calibrator are you using? Would you recommend it? I'm looking to spend between $100-$200.

Thanks.

I use the "i1Display 2" by x-rite. Works great. You should also consider getting a good IPS (in-plane switching) monitor instead of the standard TFT monitors available in most consumer stores.

I use the HueyPro on WinXP-32 with the 1.5.1 software update which also includes support for 64 bit - so I don't think it is a $40 update.

PANTONE hueyPRO 1.5.1
HueyPRO 1.5.1 software available for download

NOW SUPPORTS WINDOWS 7 IN 32 AND 64-BIT MODES!

This software download is made available for customers who have misplaced or damaged their purchased copy of hueyPRO software. To run the hueyPRO software properly you must have either purchased a hueyPRO monitor calibration system or upgraded your existing huey monitor calibration system to a hueyPRO.
