cool.. where do we search for that monitor? whats the brand and size?

not bad for a $50 bucks DIY project.. :)

what's the practical use for this? it's the same size as the LCD on the back of the camera.

.5" larger, not a whole lot but if you're running it off a Glidecam or doing video work at certain angles ie low/high shooting it sure comes in handy.
