Hello everyone.

I am a bit scrambling to find an umbrella mount holder with the shoe lock (something like this)

The one made by OPUS that I got from Henry's is a bit flimsy and screw broke the thread after being used only few times.
Unfortunately, I cannot wait for delivery of the web purchases, since it is needed now and I don't want to buy the same crap from Henry's,
especially since it feels badly overpriced quality-wise and comparing to prices of much more solid pieces that I've seen on B&H site.

Any suggestions from the local stores?
Their websites quite scarce on the information about this particular item.

Also, for future references, has anyone seen dual holder, with the additional arm that can hold another umbrella or reflector?
Worse come to worse, I can make it myself, or use clamps, but it would be interesting to know if there is an existing product.

Thanks!

not local, but I've bought mine from MPEX in the states.

I own a couple of these that I bought at Vistek a few years back and they have been rock solid. I did however remove the cold shoe adapter as I use YN-602 triggers on a spigot instead:

Apparently Manfrotto makes a good one too.

Vistek will definitely have what you are looking for, however the all metal manfrotto one will set you back $60 or so.

Having compared the Opus and Manfrotto at Henry's, I'm very happy I chose the Manfrotto unit.

Thanks guys!

I certainly don't doubt Manfrotto's quality, but with the Vistek's general policy to charge arm and a leg, the adapter which kenwood posted costs twice more then at B&H

I will be calling them about Photoflex one that Jamesy mentioned, Vistek website lists them as out of stock.

Thank you for reminding me about MPEX site PotatoEYE, I totally forgot about them.

I should be getting adapter from my friend to use for now, in case if I can't find decent one for sale, so I should have more time and will order Manfrotto from B&H or LumoPro from MPEX
