both depend on your comfort level working in the dark. daylight tubes are the way to go imo.

Agreed- but I'm not sure that that is the only difference - I think the results might vary because of the extent and amount/manner of agitation- perhaps certain methods work better for certain films.

I really get a kick out of developing otho film in trays under a red safe light, That way you can watch the image come out.

Metrix, how do you find your results when you process in trays (as opposed to other methods you might have used)? Hard to argue with having fun while developing....

Got a new camera today... so I'm reviving the large format camera meetup suggestion.

congratulations on the new acquistion

my camera looks virtually identical. I upgraded from the Nagaoka to the Chamonix 45N-1. They are really fun cameras to work with.

would love to accompany you on one of your abandoned building shoots.

hope we get some other LF shooters interested

The Shen-Hao PTB45 is virtually identical to the Chamonix... which is almost the same as a Phillips.

I'm not proposing a abandoned building shoot (and there aren't many spots I would take people I don't know anyway). However, now that the Brickworks is open to all, perhaps we can see if they have a tripod policy. People who want nature can shoot in the ponds area and people who want industrial decay could shoot inside the kiln building.
