I know this is probably a long shot... but anyone know of any shops (or perhaps flea market stalls) that sell vintage camera/movie equipment?

More specifically, I'm looking for c-mount lenses that were used on Bolex 16mm video cameras from the 50's/60's.

Last weekend, I checked some of those pawn shops on Queen St E across from the Henry's there... but to no avail.

eBay is a good option. Otherwise, try International Camera or setadelstudios.com

This Sunday is the old camera sale in Thornhill.

Where can I get more info about this Thornhill camera sale?

If you know what you're looking for and familiar with the gear, craigslist can be a good source of vintage gear. Use keh.com as a guide for pricing - which itself is probably the single best source of vintage gear in North America.

Keep in mind that the sellers' pricing of gear at the Thornhill show can be 'over optimistic' at times - especially for anything remotely desirable.

Do yourself a favour and price check on keh.com using a smartphone if possible.

Ken is completely correct.

I buy all my lenses from KEH. They are fantastic.
