Can anybody recommend a decent waterproof digital camera? I am looking for a P&S one for snorkeling fun in Mexico. Just for snapshots, obviously.

Saw bunch of them in Future Shop but can't really tell them apart and don't know anything about them, much less if they'll really hold up well in salt water. I'm not about to trust the kids who work there.

Thank you!

even at high iso at night it produced fantastic images.

How DEEP do you plan to go...some are only good for 3m/10ft, while others are good for 10m/30ft.

mine goes deep enough. I went snorkeling out in the sea and my guide had taken the camera and swam to the bottom to snap some photos for me. i also played with it at a pool roughly 6m deep and had no probs. honestly why would you want to go deeper? if you do, you're probably a bit more serious about taking under water photos and should invest in something better than a p&s

Thank you, all!

I won't be diving any time soon so 10m is more than enough. I'm thinking that Olympus Tough 8000 (or is it 8010 - i am confused with Olympus naming system) might be quite sufficient. Found contradictory reviews though.
