You can still get to HOC via public transit, just need to hop on Mississauga transit.

Also every few months there are camera shows/flea markets...the next one is Sunday April 18 from 10-3 at Bayview/John (requires hopping on YRT transit, 91), and the one following that is Sunday May 16 10-3 at "The Soccer Centre" 7601 Martin Grove, south of Hwy. 7 (they have a free hourly bus from Kipling station, or you can take the 77 YRT/Brampton bus from Finch Terminal).

To answer your unasked question, no there hasn't been any camera flea markets in the city core...even the Henry's photography show is out by the airport.

Fred Miranda forums.

Alt lens subforum: http://www.fredmiranda.com/forum/board/55
Buy Sell: http://www.fredmiranda.com/forum/board/10

OM lenses are easily adapted to fit on Canon EOS and Four Thirds bodies, and hence why they are still somewhat popular.

I personally find the best online benchmark for used camera equipment is
KEH.com

here is their olympus link

http://www.keh.com/Category-Classes/Cam ... 9/543.aspx

have never purchased from them but have heard others have had good experience (and also a few with bad experience

I agree with the KEH suggestion. They will stand behind their products and their pricing is reasonable. You'll also have the option of buying a warranty, though that makes more sense for bodies vs lenses.

I've purchased a couple of "bargain" grade items from KEH and have been happy with what I have received. The only downside to them is the normal $20+ shipping rates from the US, and potential brokerage fee surprises because they don't use USPS (FedEx only I believe).

I was able to get them to use USPS when I bought my Mamiya 6.

Really? I don't think it's a choice on the web form. I guess it never hurts to ask!

I ordered over the phone, which is actually what they suggest you do for Intl orders. They'll quote you on the different shipping options.

Reviving an old thread... planning to order from KEH.. does USPS mean there won't be any surprises at the door on delivery? Planning to buy a Canon 200mm f/2.0 IS from them.

USPS means $5 or $8 brokerage, plus HST. No massive surprises.

Thanks. And do I pay that at checkout or at the door?
