I was browsing the photoprice site, as part of my daydreams of owning an 85L one day :D.. when I noticed that a lot of gear at Henry's has dropped in price, even below Aden. As you may know, Henry's isn't known for low prices. Are Canadian MSRPs being cut due to the recent pressure of B&H?

See for yourself: http://www.photoprice.ca/price-drops/

doubtful it's a response to B&H - more likely a function of the sustained strength in the Canadian dollar's buying power.

And just like that, Aden is adjusting their prices as we speak.. photoprice doesn't receive updates in real time (hourly?), but if you click on individual items, you'll see the prices are starting to fall at Aden.

B&H, Canadian dollar, Christmas, Black Friday.. I'm sure these all play a small part in the price drops. It's about time really :D

Perhaps it finally dawned upon them that they were not selling much by being one of the highest priced stores around.

When you are all selling the same product, the price differences shouldn't be that much!!!

The price for a 580EX II is even less then $449.95 I paid in Feb of 2008, which was a heck of a deal at the time.
