while looking for source of cheaper inks for inkjet found www.inkanada.net
has anyone dealt with and used their ink cartridges or any other alternative source? inkanada is slightly better than a 1/3 the price compared to staples, henry's, vistek etal. in my case the printer is a Canon ip4700.

Thanks for the link! I'm going to try a bit more research on these guys, and if things look ok, I will probably order a set of CLI-8's to test with. Will post back with reports on quality if I remember to.

$4/cartridge is crazy cheap considering I spent $140 last week restocking on a set of official canon inks. :x I'm hoping these would give decent personal prints for putting up on the wall or a desk picture frame, and so not looking for top end quality.

bumping this thread .. any feedback on Inkanada and it's products?

OEM ink prices are killing me .. really thinking about going for a CIS system.

I contemplated buying from them, but I found a local source for my printer through Tech Direct on College, and also on Kennedy, so I save on the shipping.

I admit I also considered getting a continuous ink system (from Sonnam), but it wouldn't work with my all-in-one inkjet.

Over the years I have bought from various sources (not sure if from this one, for sure I bought from 123ink) and found that it's not worth it, pretty much each cartridge would clog my printer and wouldn't last long, more hassle than savings. I am now sticking to original cartridges (although I pretty much use laser printers these days).

Was seriously contemplating CIS when I got my printer for savings. I got thinking about the trade offs between print longevity and clog issues that I don't bother with it.

I wouldn't use a CIS system for high end printing but I'm going to try it for my Epson r380. Just ordered a kit and will provide feedback once I have tested it a while.
