Can't seem to find a lot of strong ND filters available in 77mm size lately.
Do you know where I can get a Hoya 400 or B+W 1000 for relatively cheap? I also remember I saw those variable rotatable ND's, can't find them anywhere :shock:

You mean the Singh-Ray VariND? Good luck finding one cheap, even relatively. ;)

LCW ND500 MC, claims 9 stops, but I am still hesitant

Personally I just use two polarizers (one linear and one circular) together. A LOT cheaper since I already have the polarizers lying about.
