I dont think they quite understand the importance of glass, guide numbers and overall performance. To each their own.

It's good to have another technology, maybe one day not too far from now the minimum ISO will be 1600. but I don't think one can attach a 24-70 F2.8 to an iphone.

Actually, the article states nothing beyond the title about "wedding photography".

It seems that people equate good/great photographs with high end/leading edge technology and the photographer's vision/eye doesn't seem to enter into the equation.

I guess that's what Wired sees anyway. . .

Lots of people use/provide disposable cameras at weddings, and I see lots of camera phones in use now. I wouldn't be surprised if a few of those shots made it into the album.

Great, not only do I have to feed the people that come to my wedding. Now I'll have to buy their pictures of my wedding as well! :wink:
