Another Idea for cheap ring flash

Just came across this lamp and couldn't resist to buy it

Probably the easiest way to make your own ring flash

$29.99 at walmart.. all you have to do is to remove magnifying glass

Leave the magnifying glass in and you have a high-powered macro too.

If thats a CF tube, I hope the ballast isn't in the base.
It could be very clunky.
