They better have electronic aperture control - it may be the case as they carry 300 yen premium to other mounts. Otherwise I don't see a point buying them in EF mount while you can always use Ai-S or KA mount with an adpater.

Even with that I would trade stop-down metering for greater compatibility... maybe it's just me :roll:

They'll have full aperture control, all recent Cosina EF mount products do (the CV 125/2.5 APO does, as do all Zeiss ZE lenses which are made by Cosina).

Samyang is the current maker which makes EF mount lenses with no coupling. Of course at $350 for a (very) good 85/1.4, who's complaining.

Waiting for the day that Cosina starts bringing out the CV etc manual focus stuff back to MinAF/Sony.
