Hi, first post and a question for you all.

I inherited two classic '50s Voigtlander folding cameras, one a 35mm Vito II a and the other a 6X6 MF Perkeo IIIe. Suprisingly the Perkeo funtions perfectly. The Vito though has a sticky shutter.

Can anyone recommend someone in or around Toronto who would know how to service/CLA an old camera like this? I spoke with David Yau but he said he had no experience with these cameras and suggested I look elswehere.

I'm trying to avoid shipping the camera and risking damage to it.

If necessary I will ship it to someone who has experience and a good reputation. Any recommendations on that front?

Thanks in advance.

Ship them to me and I will return them with CLA free of charge with a guaranteed 2.5 year turn around time.

Or you could check out the November 22 camera show where I'm sure one of the old camera dealers could help you.

LOL.

Thanks, I will check out the show. Do they often have for sale old Voigtlander stuff? In particular I'm looking for the Voigtlander accessory shoe rangefinder as the Vito does not have a rangefinder built in unlike the Perkeo model I have.
