You have only posted twice and have provided no details of the outing. Try providing some rough details and maybe you might get a bite or two. Your thread reads; "Looking for someone to share gas costs while we drive aimlessly for hours looking for something interesting twice a month."

Vince, you wrote: "Looking for someone to share gas costs while we drive aimlessly for hours looking for something interesting twice a month."
Do you know other ways to get great shoots? Photographer is like a hunter! You never know what you'll meet behind the corner. Interesting shoots you'll not find in the backyard. Metrix, doubleshutter is right- sit in the front. Guys, who's really interesting- call me, please on phone to discuss the routes.

Jacob, you have completely missed the point of my response. Nobody knows you. You have only three posts. You have provided no details of the outings. Based on the responses that you see in the thread I have to ask you if you really think anyone is going to take you seriously? Generally people in this club are friendly but with a post like this you may get the wrong idea about what the TPMG is like. You're asking for sarcasim with this detail vacant thread.

Ok Vince. I don't have details of the outings. I just going and going in the country, until sudden I get great shoot. And what should I do, that people will take seriously my offer?

maybe start by learning to be a better killer by not mucking up your English skills when you get frazzled from people thinking you're a killer.

I feel bad for you, so here's what I recommend you write your initial post like:

I am a photographer who likes to travel outside of the city walls a lot in search of some great photo opportunities. I usually drive 300-500km one or two Sundays a month and I am looking for like-minded people to join me.

More details:
We split gas costs
Travel suggestions welcome

If interested pm me or call me for quicker response (insert number here)

Hope I can find someone to travel and shoot with!

Thank You PE for responding and helping. I am honestly not shocked at the responses from members on this board. Having met Jacob in person at my Guild Inn outing, I suggested he post on the board. Jacob, best of luck finding others to go on a photo road trip. And as I said, keep looking at the board, as we do plan things like this from time to time.

I feel bad for Jacob too. Just like a recent post in the Job Openings forum. Newbies can read these posts.
I worry if the ridicule, I mean reception they received might deter other newbies from posting/joining.
Jus sayin'

I apologize for my earlier comments Jacob. Your message did seem sketchy to me when I thought about it. I'm glad you've re-posted with more details. Thanks :)
