Since the first attempt at this looks as though it will be rained out and the notice was short we'll give it another shot:

Details:

What: Royal Botanical Gardens Rose Fest
When: June 29th or 30th (Tuesday or Wednesday @ 12PM)
Time: 12PM
Where: the Royal Botanical Gardens in Burlington
Bring: Camera, macro lens, tripod, flash $ for admission (see below)

The RBG is holding their rose fest tours until early July so I am assuming there will still be roses at this point. To get there GO Trains operate hourly, more often during rush hour, back and forth from Union Station to Aldershot station. People can be picked up if need be, just let me know. If you're driving here's a map. Also, if you don't have a macro don't count yourself out, there's other stuff going on there and it's a beautiful place with many many photo ops for all kinds of gear. For example, they've currently got some funky/morbid scarecrow art installation going on that looks worth shooting.

Admission is $12.50 but Alice has kindly found some coupons for 25% off. Or, you can buy your tickets online and get a "free" map worth $2!

Oh, I love roses, if only I could have a day off. You guys & gals have fun! I saw the peonies & irises last month, and they were gorgeous.

It's unfortunate that the river after the waterfall is brown, so full of woodland debris and the detritus of teenagers. Otherwise it would be a more interesting subject.
